1. Harvesting Color - How to dye using natural ingredients! a recent obsession. we actually just added
this one to the library at the studio.
3. Semi-Precious Stones - ok, I just want it for the cover. is that so wrong?
4. Los Angeles: Portrait of a City - there are some great photos of life in LA in this book.
are there more books I should have on this list?

Summer of Seventy Eight is Summer Rapp's clothing line that launched earlier this year.
Her pieces are unique (interesting textures, bold prints and unexpected details) and casual-chic.
The California coast has definitely inspired her looks and the attitude is sexy and tough -- hello leather!
I love the restrained tie dyed look of the pants and her sweaters look so cozy, with an edge of course.

Marimekko was founded in Finland in 1951 by Armi Ratia and her husband, Viljo.
In 1960, Crate and Barrel began a partnership with Marimekko, which continues to this day.
Many of the early Marimekko designs still remain in production.
