Jack Lenor Larsen

Jack Lenor Larson first started out studying architecture. But that didn't feel quite right. It was a weaving course that catapulted his passion for textiles. As he puts it, "After two years of architecture, drafting things that would never be built, weaving felt good indeed. It had horizontals and verticals, like architecture, and was dependent on materials and light and shadow, but I had real yarns and real color and real structure."

those were pretty tame, but these pieces of furniture upholstered in his fabrics are truly psychedelic!
