Joan and Bob

Joan and Bob were an item early on. How cute are they. Bob looks like a wee lad.

Joan was very involved in the Civil Rights movement as well as pacifism. Love the above poster encouraging conscientious objectors during the Vietnam War.

This Past weekend we watched a bunch of documentaries on Netflix. One was about Joan Baez. She had a really nice clean aesthetic back in the day.

Please excuse the crappy cell phone picture through the reflective window. Saw this antique rotary sewing machine down in the Circle last week. I tried to find the same one online for a better image, but no luck. The decorative motifs are quite nice. Ran across more images below on my search.

What Color is Caesar?

Brian and I went down to the Orange Circle this weekend to grab some breakfast. While we were there we stopped in a couple of antique stores. We ended up coming upon the book "What Color is Caesar." I think the copy was from the 60's or 70's. Anyway, here are a couple of shots we took of the book.
