Louise Bourgeois Patchwork


Just saw a post over at CT STYLE about Louise Bourgeois' "fabric drawings." These are from 2003 - 2006. They are constructed from her clothes, table cloths and bed linens. You can see more pieces at the Hauser and Wirth site. She seems to be partial to the stripe.

wow they're so crazy amazing and perfect companions to her spider sculptures. i totally want to be covered in a quilted spider's web.

I love the one that looks like it's madeof ticking - black stripey spidey webs. Had no idea she did things like this.
