Gunta Stolzl

Gunta Stolzl was a German textile artist instrumental in the development of the Bauhaus school's weaving workshop. These are initial designs for some of her weavings. They are just as impressive as the actual weavings. We got to see this one above in person. I was majorly coveting it. Made me want to get some graph paper out and get to work. Here is a link to a site dedicated to her. It is quite comprehensive, with lots of great pictures.
